The One Minute video exhibition, the fruit of a collaborative mentorship program facilitated by the One Minutes foundation, will be open for a week at Greatmore Studios from the 6th of May. This initiative has brought together nine people from various artistic backgrounds, some of whom have no experience in video art, involving them in the challenge of shooting and editing a sixty-second-long film.
The forms used in this workshop range from chalk, charcoal and clay animation through live action, creating pieces that range from abstract concept pieces through fictitious situations to documentary-styled feature films.
The exhibition will open at Greatmore Studios, 47-49 Greatmore St., Woodstock, Cape Town at17h30, 6th May 2010, and close at 20h00, 12th May 2010.
